"...Was in danger of being harmless."
One of several awesome quotes from this great translation! I know they're normally not very good but this one takes the cake! LOL

Re: Tragic Accidents in Indonesia

Quick reiteration of the story to give a more accurate recollection from an Indonesian source I read...

The victim was Eva Yanti Lumbangaol (26) who was riding a rented motorbike driven by Ahmad Sutopo (42) in order to spread their 7 October 2017 wedding invitations to prospective guests. Apparently, while crossing the driver did not see the train coming and he was right in the middle of the tracks when the train hit. Sutopo fell to the front of his bike, off to the side tracks while Eva got dragged along with the bike.

Eva died on the spot with her leg torn off while the driver, Sutopo, suffered a broken left leg, and they both are rushed to Royal Prima Hospital at Ayahanda Street. Families are yet to be told regarding this tragic accident

If dead, he was certainly rendered "harmless".

Re: Tragic Accidents in Indonesia

Lucky they never got to hand out the wedding invitations. Otherwise everyone would be expecting him to marry a corpse.
