Tip Off Leads to Corpse Found in Forest in Paraguay.
Tuesday, January 26, 2021, the Civil Police of Santa Helena, Paraguay, received an anonymous complaint that there was a corpse in a forest on the Buricá Line, in the interior of the municipality. The policemen went to the indicated location and found a buried human body. Due to the state of decomposition, it is estimated that the victim has been dead for about 4 days. During the excavations, two bags with bones were also found, according to experts, the bones were said to be from animals. At least one of the bones would have been cut using a machine (band saw). The male body was found half naked, without identity, but has two tattoos that can help in the identification. An initial identification was not possible, given that none of the people with a record of missing persons in the city have similar characteristics to the body found. The Civil Police, a Criminalistics team and Toledo's IML removed the body and searched for evidence. Initially, no marks were found to indicate the cause of death. A police inquiry will be launched to investigate the case.               |

Traditionally, 'dice' was plural and 'die' singular. 'Die' is now largely considered archaic and the OED (both US and UK editions) list 'dice' as both plural and singular. |
