Three Young Women Executed While Dining
A simple cafe became the scene of a bloodbath last night as armed commandos entered the premises and executed three women eating in the establishment. Their identities are not yet known and it is uncertain whether the women themselves were the targets or if the target was the cafe, which sits in a hotly contested drug region in Huimanguillo. because the sign roughly translates to "Yego cleans up the whores!" I personally suspect that the ladies were targeted. But who can say for sure. A cardboard sign was left a the scene as a warning and no one aside from the women were injured. I dunno. Getting blown away while eating dinner is bad enough. But one of them got shot in the ass and died face down on the janitorial mop. Not a dignified way to go by any stretch. Still likely better than her friend, however, who pissed her pants and flopped right onto a plate of refried beans when she hit the floor. |

Re: Three Young Women Executed While Dining
All respect to you Vedderman, and you're a god, but the word "yego" is a misspelling of llegó, which means, "Came." A better translation is "The cleaning came! Whores!" Also, in some Latin countries (not sure about this one), llegarse has the same meaning as "to come/cum" in English, so it could also be a possible pun. Not quite sure though, as puns are pretty rare in Spanish.

Re: Three Young Women Executed While Dining
Thanks for the clarification. Always appreciated. I have no formal knowledge of spanish; only what I have picked up doing research for this site for the last 11 years. So I am sure that a lot escapes me. :)

Re: Three Young Women Executed While Dining
The actual meaning of the message is: "Time to clean, fuckers!" The literal translation of the word "putos" is whores, whoever in these context , we mexicans use that word as an insult and it's more like using the word fuckers, spanish is confusing that way, specially curse words . |
