Three Women Found With Neck Wounds in Madera, Chihuahua, August 29, 2019
The bodies of three young women were found on the grass verge of a highway in the municipality of Madera, Chihuahua, on August 29, 2019. They had major neck wounds and had been laid out beside the road toward Temósachi. A large printed banner was strung on a fence behind them. The state prosecutor said the killings resulted from rivalry between La Línea and El Jaguar. The state prosecutor's office for the western zone opened an investigation, and the bodies were sent for forensic examination. Authorities had not identified the women, and the formal cause of death remained pending after the examination was ordered.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
