Three Men Were Charged with Murder of Gas Station Worker

Malaysia.Three men were charged in the magistrate's court yesterday with murdering a 42-year-old part-time petrol kiosk cashier
K. Nanda Kumar, 22, of Kampung Baru Jelapang, M. Tayalan, 32, of Kampung Razak, and N. Ganesan, 22, of Jelapang, were alleged to have murdered Mohammad Khai-ruddin Mohamed Isa.

They allegedly committed the offence with another person still at large at Lot 191515 Petronas station, Gunung Lang, Jalan Kuala Kangsar here at 6.58am on Nov 11.

Khairuddin was a ustaz at the Perak mufti's office.

Inspector Sarimah Mohd Saidin prosecuted. Magistrate Mohamed Ruhizat Abdullah fixed Jan 13 for mention.
In the incident, four men robbed the station of RM1,000 after Khairuddin was slashed to death before they escaped in a car.

In an another case, police extended the remand of a 51-year-old-woman to facilitate investigations into the murder of a 63-year-old man at a house in Ipoh Garden South.

The remand order which expired yesterday was extended until tomorrow.

In the incident on Dec 3, Risham Abdullah, 63, was found murdered with head and body injuries.
