Happened in everyone's favorite region of Mexico.

The four people were lined up on their knees and then shot once in the back of the head with a 9mm. They were identified as 2 stonemasons, a taxi driver, and the 20 year old daughter of a local police officer. The area in which the bodies were discovered is referred to as "The Little Hell" due to both its rugged terrain and its preferred status as a good spot for murders. As such, the Medical Examiner and his team refused to come out and process the bodies until after dawn, claiming that the area was too dangerous to traverse at night.

I'll note that even though the authorities were too afraid to go out and deal with the scene in the dead of night, the photographer (who single-handedly provides this website with about 75% of its high-quality Mexican gore photos) was Johnny on the spot and braved the rigors of “El Infiernillo" to get pics before the bodies were even cold. I'm not going to name him here, but anyone who spends any time looking for Mexican crime photos probably knows him by reputation, even 5000 miles away. Dude is a serious fucking trooper when it comes to getting the goods with rojas journalism.
