Cambodia. Friday morning police arrested 3 suspects in connection with the brutal murder of 47 year old P.L.

After bursting into his home the victim was viciously attacked, hacked and had his throat slit using a sickle and a meat cleaver who were later recovered by police outside the residence in a giant water storage jar and a phone and other belongings a inside a bag.

The attackers were quicly arrested and confessed the murder. Local authorities and forensic teams interrogated the suspects to determine the exact motive behind this violent killing.

C.P. (also known as Tei), male, 25 years old, S.S., male, 29 years old and S.R, male, 52 years old told that the motive for the murder was a long-standing personal grudge.

All 3 suspects live in the same village as the victim and they had ongoing, heated arguments during drinking sessions (Palm wine) that boiled over into a deadly conflict.

The suspects claimed that the victim routinely disrespected and provoked them during these disputes, causing them to harbor severe resentment.

The suspects are being prosecuted for premeditated murder, which is one of the most severe offenses under the Cambodian Penal Code. Under Article 200 of this code, a conviction for premeditated murder carries a mandatory penalty of life imprisonment.

After one bad time of drinking and fighting, why get drunk with the guy again?? I'm guessing the victim could kick all their asses because it possibly took 3 of them (maybe they all just wanted to do it). Did a marginal job which was effective, but they're no Lucas. He's the new gold standard.
