Three Bankrobbers Killed
An attempted robbery at a credit union resulted in the deaths of three bandits on the morning of Thursday , during exchange fire with the military police in the center of the city Bom Jesus do Araguaia. A fourth member of the gang was hit by gunfire and taken to the hospital. According to police reports, four armed robbers went to the bank in a red car and saw a team of police officers who were already in place, at which initiated the shooting. Three robbers were killed in front of the agency and the other tried to escape but was eventually shot and wounded. According by PM information six weapons used by robbers in the robbery attempt were seized, two rifles and four pistols. The vehicle used by the gang was also forwarded to the civil police station in the city. The PM had received information about the attempted robbery in the nearby town.
