Three Bandits Died After an Exchange of Fire with Police Officers
Earlier on Friday (24) during operation conducted by the civil police 3 marginal died after an exchange of fire with the agents in a farm located in the village Novo Horizonte in Jau Tocantins (360 km of Palmas). According to the delegate responsible for the operation, Abelice Abbey da Cunha Souza, the police went to the site comply with an arrest warrant against João Ferreira dos Santos, popularly known as "Chubby" who was accused of integrating a gang robberies farms and small trades, but when they arrive on site staff were greeted by gunfire. The police returned fire and hit the 3 bandits were also rescued, but did not resist the wounds and died on the spot. One of the dead was John himself Ferreira had passage by the police for the crime of theft. The other was identified as marginal Claudionor Pereira dos Santos.
