Re: Thief Vs Pitbull

How come this things always look so fake?
And I agree, poor dog. Btw, is it something wrong with its ears or are they like, flipped some how`?
By the looks of it thay were origanly cropet, then im guessing hes lost the in dog fights. They tend to get ahold of the face or ears trying to get the throat

Re: Thief Vs Pitbull

Shit, poor guy

If this was an equivalent image of something a man did to a dog, it would be removed.

Re: Thief Vs Pitbull

Nowadays it's for the look. That's the breed's "traditional" esthetics. But, once upon a time, they were clipped for hygiene; to prevent desieses and infections in working or hunting dogs.
Hey, they were usually clipped by all "fighting" dogs. for example pit bulls or staffs or dogo argentino asw. The reason is, that the apponent coulnd have the chance to bite the dog in the ears and to pull him away.
Even they were clipped by for example dobermann. By dogs who have to defend some areals. the thief or someone else should dont know, if the dog is agressive or scary. Because, the position of the ears of the dogs signs some bodylanguage. If you know about dogs, you have to look at first to their ears and tails. Even by Dobermann or rottweiler, their tail is been clipped. Why? The apponent dont have to know the behaviour of the dog.
Thats the reason.

But good job. If it was a real thief....
