Re: Thief Vs Pitbull

I still feel sorrier for the dog. If you're stupid enough to get into a yard that isn't yours, then tough.

Re: Thief Vs Pitbull

How come this things always look so fake?
And I agree, poor dog. Btw, is it something wrong with its ears or are they like, flipped some how`?
Some people "crop" a pitbull's ears. Some do it to make the dog look "streamlined". Other people do it for fighting purposes, less ear means less for another dog to grab ahold of. All I can say is to each his own. I have 5 pitbulls, and I myself let them keep what equipment they were born with. I do not fight dogs, that would be like sending a family member out to fight til the death. But I can tell you this much, if some crazy fucker tried to harm my family, any of my dogs would rise to the ocassion, with out prompting.

Re: Thief Vs Pitbull

Good to see that most of the comments (on the first few pages anyway) weren't feeding into the hysteria around Pit Bulls.

Their ears were originally cropped, so that they wouldn't be torn during dog fights. Now (hopefully) people only do it for aesthetics. Personally, I'm happy I left Sam's ears intact. They have too much character.

Pit Bulls have a high prey drive, and are extremely high energy, but it's not in their nature to attack humans. This dog was obviously trained to attack intruders. They also make great pets, and workout partners.
