My German Shepherd weights about 115 and is 13 months old. Son of my first that went 130.
He the father hit a possum one night and I've trained canines for sheriff depts. But never saw anything as vicious as this. They only bite and hold but he hit this thing at full speed and shook so hard it killed it. You can't hardly kill a possum with a rock, and kil it.

we had an american bulldog in at the vets who had been hit in the face with a machete by a burglar, nearly chopped his nose off, it was like a flap eww. But the vets fixed him up good and the police were apparently looking for a suspect with dog bites xD

They're banned here too out of pure ignorance, now all the idiots who created the dangerous dogs in the first place through abuse or improper training are moving on to different breeds to fuck up for the rest of us responsible owners.

There are stupid people campaigning to get breeds like german shepherds banned, and they're invaluable tools to the police even.

Going by reported USA bite statistics, you're more likely to get bitten by a lab or a collie.. Not bad considering pit bulls are one of the most popular and numerously kept breeds there.
