man in his 30s, was burnt to death, this morning, by an angry mob in Urua Ekpa Junction in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, for allegedly stealing a motorcycle.

The mob had pursued the suspect after making away with the bike which was packed in front of a fuel station, few kilometers from AKBC Transmitting Station, Ntak Inyang.

An elderly man who claimed ownership of the motorcycle, said he was shocked as he watched the deceased unlock his bike with the aid of a master key, prompting him to inform people round the vicinity, who helped catch the suspect and set him ablaze.

Before operatives of the State Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, could arrive the scene, the mob had already poured petrol on the suspect and burnt him beyond recognition.

An eyewitnes, Itoro Umoh, identified the suspect, describing him as serial robber, whose stock in trade was to steal motorcycle packed at the fuel station by people who come from Itu and Ibiono Ibom LGA for business.

Akwa Ibom State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Odiko MacDon, confirmed the incident, describing the jungle justice as unfortunate and encouraged people to always report criminal matters to the police instead of taking the law in their hands.

Ahh, the neglacing after the accused is swiftly proven guilty(lol) through the peoples court continues and still greatly achieves prevention of such crimes from happening again because it is a major deterrent?

If only the evil act of humans directly causing the death of a highly possible innocent person would stop happening being taught as the correct thing to do when it itself is clearly fucking wrong? Tradition can kiss my arse, they have learned wrong from the evil dumb elders before them, these stupid people need help
