Since this thread has turned mostly into atheists versus people who believe in the god of the christian bible I'll direct my post at them. You claim things like "We can't understand God's plan" or point to the bible and versus from within for proof. So I'll ask this. If your god is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent that means that BEFORE time itself even existed he knew exactly who this girl would be, every choice she would make, every experience she would have, and ultimatly exactly how she would die. You also claim that god loves everyone in a way that we can't even comprehend. If you loved someone with all of your heart, without the level your god must surely posses but as much as humanly possible, and you knew in advance that something horrible was going to happen that would result in their death, wouldn't you do everything in you power (which in your god's case is infinite) to save them? To me saying "he wanted her to come to him, it was his plan" is a fucking cop out, but I already know that's how you will respond because you are all oh so predictable. But really. wouldn't you? I would also like to know, for those of you who seem to think those of us who don't believe are going to burn in hell, how you figure? Again, if god knows us and all of our choices before we are born (destroys the idea of free will btw) then allows is to be born, loves us more than we can understand, but also allows us to go ahead and make bad choices (remember, god already knew we would right?) and punishes eternally for them...well either you are wrong and he isn't omnipotent and omniscient or he's just a tremendous sadist and dick. |

why do all of u understand that? i mean all of u come from america- why can u speak (or write and read) german? is "ich bin gott" slang or something like that? or is it like kindergarden, blitzkrieg and gesundheit? |
