Thailand - Old Woman Died in Field Fire
On the afternoon of 10th February 2019 in the Kranuan District (Thailand), rescue volunteers found the body of a 68 year old woman in a field. The woman had gone out to 'set fire to burn rice', but due to strong winds, the fire spread rapidly + she lost her life.

Now if you would all like to pose around the body and you can all have a print to put in your family album.

Re: Thailand - Old Woman Died in Field Fire
As Thai myself, she burn the "Sugarcane" field in order to make it easier to cut. (This is very bad and illegal due to the pollution and the fire might spread) Well, this is bad but still feel bad for her.

Re: Thailand - Old Woman Died in Field Fire
Thank you very much. One article I found stated that she was burning rice in a forest, another said it was sugarcane in a field. The translations are always so vague + hard to decipher!

They're volunteers, it seems to be quite a common thing over there.
