Re: Thailand - Foreigners Death Mix

WTF is with the rescuers posing with the bodies? They treat the victims like trophy kills they're proud of. And there's not even anything unusual about these deaths, so they must do it all the time.

Taking group photos like this over dead victims would be grounds for termination from any emergency services organization virtually anywhere in the US, even volunteer units.

dude, can you understand it's a different culture? they are not posing like a trophy, it' s a record of who was there to do the work, for accountability

Re: Thailand - Foreigners Death Mix

about the danish guy. Why in the name of all that is holy, does he not use the entire bed? legs on a chair?
I do like his sleeping arrangement. a throat pillow seems comfortable to stabilize the head while sleeping.

I know it's a different culture but I don't buy that. I'm sure there are records who was on the assignment that day. Why would they need photographic proof who was there and why would they use their personal phones? Nah, they just want trophy photos of themselves.

They are volunteers + take photos with the deceased to show that they are proud of having taken care of the body. It's very common in Thailand.
