Thailand - 2 Insurgents Killed During Police Operation
On the morning of 8th November 2017 in Pattani Province (Thailand), a police operation led to the deaths of 2 insurgents. 50 officers from 3 departments went on the hunt for 2 men. They eventually found them hiding in a house, though they refused to come out. After many attempts to get the men to surrender, they still weren't budging. Even a religious leader with a megaphone attempted to reason with them! From inside the house, one of the men fired a shot at an officer. In retaliation, the police aimed their Viva tank + fired it into the house. Upon searching the house, the officers found the 2 suspects dead; 28 year old A.D. + 22 year old G.T.
