Re: Thai Suicide; Wardrobe Nearly Malfunctions
It doesn't take much pressure on your arteries to induce unconsciousness; you slip your head in the noose and lower your weight. Once you black out and go limp, gravity and the rope does the rest.....there's no turning back. There's a video of a Syrian girl who hangs herself this way. In less than 10 seconds, she's out, limp and along for her final ride. There's other involuntary stuff going on after she goes out related to damage to the brain stem, but that's how it works. |

Re: Thai Suicide; Wardrobe Nearly Malfunctions
On a much older post there were workers all pointing to the dead body as in this photo. Someone commented saying the photos are taken like that to show which employee assisted in the investigation. The ones pointing were the ones assisting. I don't know if that's the reason, but that was the explanation a while ago.

Re: Thai Suicide; Wardrobe Nearly Malfunctions
It's almost like they know that we get a good laugh at the 'pointers'. Why else would they go to such comedic lengths to point out the dead body? Or is pointing out a corpse a badge of honor type thing? That last question is somewhat serious. Does anyone know why they do it? |
