Thai Man Died Sitting in a Chair in Cambodia This Morning

This morning in Banteay Meanchey Province, 49 year old Komsan Thuangsoongnern died.

Komsan had arrived in Cambodia in October last year. The landlord of where he lived stated that he would see Komsan on a daily basis. On this occasion, he saw him enter the building + take a seat. A little bit later on, the landlord noticed that Komsan had not moved. On further inspection, he realised that he had died.

Komsan had been suffering from arthritis, sweating, diarrhea + vomiting.

Diarrhea + vomiting would be a contribution.

Agreed, but he looks like he had some chronic illness other than inflammation of the joints which contributed to his death. HIV was the first to pop into my mind.

Yeah, he did look very ill + way older than his actual age. Poor bloke.

I agree. the first thing I noticed was that he looked much older than 49. I would have thought that was a typo, but his ID confirmed his age. He looked at least 10 to 15 years older. Advanced aging, sweating, diarrhea, and being so underweight are signs that he was suffering from some serious illness. Also, the fact he died is another clue that he probably wasn't in the best health.

Re: Thai Man Died Sitting in a Chair in Cambodia This Morning

Maybe food/water poisoning
Indeed, other symptoms can additionally include a lack of energy, loss of appetite, aching muscles and chills, according to the NHS.

But sometimes food poisoning may not trigger gastrointestinal-related symptoms at all.

According to The Washington Post, two patients were hospitalised in the United States last year with none of the usual indicators of the illness.

One of them had endured intermittent fever, weight loss, night sweats and joint pain for six months, while the another suffered with high fever, confusion and a stiff neck.
