Re: Terrible Aftermath of Transit Bus Accident.

That was no accident, unless the bomb went off by accident. The window was blown outwards.

Re: Terrible Aftermath of Transit Bus Accident.

its not so much the explosion thats lethal, because the closer you are to the bomb, the less damage, it's the shock wave's that cause the damage, and inside a bus like that would of been horendous, thats the cause of so much damage to the victims.

Uh ... the closer one is to a bomb, the more lethal it is. I think you're referring to the explosive effects of dynamite, which when placed on the ground, will yield its destructive power in kind of a shallow, inverted cone. The type of explosion here in this bus is quite deadly since the explosive material would be above ground; moreover, the steel frame of the vehicle would accentuate the destruction, diverting some of the blast energy back in on itself, as well as onto the passengers and the perp.

Not a sermon, just the facts.

yeah there's a condition called "blast lung", a person will appear unharmed by the explosion but in fact all the alveoli are ruptured and the person drowns in their own blood
