A 15 year-old kid was executed with gunshots on the night of Friday in Manaus.

According to the military police, the teenager's body was found around 11:40PM, after routine patrolling in the area. The victim was wearing only shorts.

During the expertise work at the scene, teenager's mother, who had arrived at the scene, identified the victim as her son.
The teenager lived in the same neighborhood and had said that he would go to his girlfriend's house to borrow a cell-phone, his phone was probably out of credit.

The kids mother said: "I was restlessly waiting for him to arrive at home and called him, but he did not answer my call and I began to get worried to find my son in that situation."

A resident, who preferred to remain anonymous, said that the teenager was a drug user and had also been in trouble with the police.

The criminal expert of the Institute of Criminology (IC) confirmed that he was killed with four shots to the head. The phone was not found with the teenager.

The police work with the hypothesis, that the crime was motivated by debts with drug trafficking.

Investigations will be assigned by the Specialized Police of Homicide and Kidnapping (DEHS) in attempts to identify the shooter.

The teenager's body was removed by the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML).

He was just a kid in way too deep. But he was old enough to know what he was doing, you'd think kids would take note of all the drug related deaths.
