The only thing I can think of that would make this story worse is if she prostituted herself to feed her one year old child. Either way, quite a sad story.  |

Yup, I have a cousin who had a baby at 14 (she had just turned 14 as well, so got pregnant not too far into age 13) - and this is in Canada, where we are supposed to know better than that as well as have the means readily available to prevent it. Turns out stupidity has no nationality. A kid count only proves that she has hit puberty, and is indeed a poor indicator of age.
