That part confuses me a bit too. No blood pool or injury on her body from what we can see in the pics. Just around her head... which you'd think would look a lot more messed up if it had been shot more than once?

You might be right, but that's what the article tells. All sources agree on the fact that she was hit several times (headlines - I haven't read all the articles), but it is absolutely possible that most of those headlines are copied from a single common source.

It could be, but it isn't likely. Traffickers are usually known to the police at least as connected to the drug or general crime environment, and nothing is mentioned about that. She could be a druguser, though. We often meet them here - mostly, I guess, because they didn't pay the bill. The pusher certainly won't get any money from a dead girl, but the rest of the customers get a reminder about what happens, if you don't pay. I don't know, if this is the case here - it could also be something with a boyfriend or a dozen of other things. Life is cheap in Brazil. Btw - I saw another source mention her as 18 years old. The name was also a bit different (which means that it isn't copy-paste, but an independent source). This source said that she was hit by four shots. |
