I agree with all those saying that she probably didn't wear a helmet, even if infact many brazillian motorbike riders seem to do so. It won't save them from for example a broken neck though, and we see a lot of them dead here - the only reason that I know helmets are widely used is the number I've seen finding fatal victims for this site.

But my point here is that we really don't know - it would probably be removed already at the site, where she was still alive, and certainly in the morgue, where the images are made.
