The police registered a murder on Saturday night in Rafael village, rural Caruaru. The victim, Matthew Severino da Silva, age 17, was drinking with some friends in a factory. At around 22:30, he was surprised by the arrival of a man who entered the factory shooting, hitting the victim with 5 shots in the head and neck.

According to relatives, the victim worked at the factory and that last night was invited by friends to drink where the crime occurred. The family also reported that minutes before the shooting the killer came along in a car and scouted the scene. He then returned on foot, committed the crime and then fled. Locals reported that Matheus was a good guy, hardworking and started drinking 3 years ago after the death of his mother. The body was sent to the the morgue.

I believe it is 18 (17 in some areas). It is rarely enforced though.

The way the area was scouted prior to seems like a hit (to me). I do not believe he was the intended target though.
