No, it's her. It's just that she was kidnapped specifically to be executed and not ransomed, as it originally appeared. They kidnapped her and strangled her to death in the truck almost immediately, then dumped the body before even calling in the ransom demand. |

Just in case anyone cares about the resolution, they identified and issued warrants for the actual parties involved in this kidnapping and murder last week. They had already linked the crime to the ringleader, who was still incarcerated at the time, but now they have snagged the actual killers as well. There were six men directly involved, split between two vehicles. One to grab her and one to keep watch and block her off if she tried to run. They got her in the truck, tied her up, held a bag over her head, and strangled her to death with a cord. All men are being charged equally for their participation. |
