15 year old girl fell off of a jet ski while she and some friends were at the lake. She wasn't wearing a life preserver and apparently was a very weak swimmer. The friends fled the scene. Not sure who called emergency services to help. They sent divers down to find her but it took almost four hours and the result is self-evident. Not sure if the beer cans lying next to her corpse tie in with her death or not, but my guess would be yes.

Happened this weekend. CoD was drowning.

That's the problem with young people. They think they are invincible. This is what happens when an ego decides to trump safety. Judging by that first picture I bet she never thought in a million years her ass would be dying that day. It's a shame. It really is.

She was pregnant: the two guys and the girl who were along with her had fled the scene without even try to help: days after the police were still unable to identify them, if caught they would be charged for failing to assist a person in danger and for giving the jet ski to a person without license. She fell in the water As she turned the ignition key. Two of them fled on a Hilux, the third one on the other jet ski. Couldn't find any further update so far.

License for jet ski? Shieet, I hope my government won't hear about that. Pretty much everything else is already under different licenses.

In many countries AFAIK you need ICC for Jet Ski, regardless the engine displacement.
I don't know in Brazil though.

Thanks. Always appreciate your clarifications on my poorly translated stories. I try to make them as interesting and natural to read as I can, but I don't speak a lick of Portuguese so sometimes I fall short on a few of the specifics.
