Teacher Drops a Deuce When Hubby Drops the Bike
Married couple were riding double on a bike when they were clipped by a truck that allegedly failed to signal properly. Bike went down, hubby went into the ditch and the wife, a 38 year old schoolteacher, faceplanted on the blacktop and split her skull like an overripe melon. Unfortunately for her enduring memory here on DR, she also clearly should have worn the brown pants.  |

Minimal damage to the bike. It looks rideable from the crash scene. Helmets? I don't think show. Classic example of low speed survivable crash if proper safety gear is used.
