Re: Suicide By Train As A Result Of Depression
They say that drowning induces euphoria, I'd rather know I was going personally, sounds grim but I wouldn't want to have the boundaries blurred. Whatever comes next, if anything comes next, I'd much rather know what was going on at the transition point. If we're picking an ending though, I'd like to go in an epic manner, atomized in a lab accident or eaten by resurrected dinosaurs |

Re: Suicide By Train As A Result Of Depression
Drowning is very painful, physically AND mentally, for the 20-30 seconds that you're unsuccessfully struggling for air. Unless your intention is to die, then that decreases the mental pain somewhat. I can think of far worse ways to go though. 20 seconds of severe burning pain in the lungs is worth the peaceful feeling that ensues. |

Those are the best trees, I've never trusted a tree that bears fruit, it's all a bit shifty...it's probably up to something.

Re: Suicide By Train As A Result Of Depression
A guy I knew back in the day was hit by a train when we were in school, but it was an accident. Most of his body was found, but a few pieces were unaccounted for. I wasn't there when the train hit him, but I saw the result. His head was damaged and swollen, but he was wearing a helmet so the train didn't hit it directly. His left arm, 1 of his legs, and a foot were completely detached. The intact limbs were broken, spine was broken, etc. Dude was a mess. In cases like these, I can't imagine why people involve others in their suicides. If that's the path you've chosen, ok, but it's not fair to force others to participate. The conductors don't deserve that. |
