I can't read spanish, but perhaps they either placed it there, or it is the exit wound.. Then again, why am I replying to this.. I know nothing about guns or bullets :P

I've read that a bullet can break through the skin and punch a hole in the skull yet not penetrate said skull. So I can see this here.

They also said bullets can go between the skull and skin and travel in that manner, never entering the skull vault I believe they called it.
