Suicide Bomber in Akuressa, Sri Lanka
Nice frame by frame capture of suicide Akuressa, Sri Lanka, which killed 10 people and seriously injured a citizen of Sri Lankan government minister and 40 other people. The attack was orchestrated by the Tamil Tiger rebels and took place on March 11, 2009, while local Muslims were celebrating the Mawlid, the birthday of Prophet Mohammed. Sri Lankan Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mahinda Wijesekara is the official most aggrieved government. Minister of Petroleum HM Fowzie and four other ministers were also among the wounded. Kamikaze has approached the crowd on a bike and body mounted explosive detonated resulting in the massive explosion of fire as captured in the image below:  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

lol i love how long it takes them to respond  pictures make it look hilarious. Looks like there's this raging inferno behind them, and they dont do so much as BLINK until the last pic.

Do you think the leg...Or, what looks to be a leg in the final picture is the bomber themselves? Or are you reduced to a fine mist after a blast like that...Then again, suicide bomber doesn't exactly mean it was strapped to them, I just kinda figured...
