On the afternoon of Friday (04) a man killed his wife and then committed suicide in the District of Mechanics (134 km from Joao Pessoa). According to the Military Police, the individual identified as Ivanildo 47 years killed his wife Josênia 38 with knife blows and then took his own life by hanging himself. As police information, the murder-suicide is investigated as a crime of passion, as the couple was separated for about 15 days. The bodies were found by a son of the couple who came home. Also according to information recently Ivanildo had been arrested accused of having participated in a murder in the area but was later released . The case was registered at the Civil Police investigating the crime.
