Looks quite real. Everything is right. As to lack of blood, you are right, crushing trauma does not bleed as much as others. Also, the neck could be spurting 5 gallons of blood that is behind the track.

I have to hand it to these people. I mean, trains are loud, intimidating, huge, scary machines. The engineer is laying on that insanely loud horn, and the ground is vibrating, and that diesel electric engine is roaring, and they have the balls to lie there without moving. I don't think I could do it.
