Suicidal Man Killed Himself with Improvised Guillotine
Timişoara, Romania

A 45-year-old man was found to have killed himself in a rented hotel apartment. He had mostly beheaded himself with an improvised guillotine-type contraption.

Two suicide notes were found. A USB stick was attached to one of the notes - the contents was a message in which the man asked police not to search for other involved persons. He was divorced, but had rebuilt his life with another woman. Police are investigating the reasons that made the man resort to such a violent gesture.

This is fascinating. That took a lot of effort to build. I see it has weights tied on, and I’m thinking the gloves were to stop sweaty palms causing it to slip too soon?

Doing it face up took some balls and I’m not sure it was that instant either.
