Electrocution with mains power can be pretty ugly, which might be a factor in why it's not common for a suicide. It's probably likely you'd feel it for some time until your heart stops. Judicial electrocution involves an intial jolt of about 2000 volts to the head for several seconds in order to instantly cause brain death, probably faster than pain receptors can activate. I don't know if it's against the rules to post a specific suicide method, but you can build yourself a proper electric chair out of household items rather than wrap mains voltage around you finger and be slowly burned and shocked to death. |
