Student Hung Herself While Train Was in Transit
This 22 year old student in India went into the bathroom of the train and hung herself while it was traveling between two cities. The case is being investigated for extenuating circumstances, but there was a 21 page (!) suicide note on the scene, so chances are it was legit. Charges may still be pending, however, as the suicide note mentioned some sort of blackmail as the catalyst for the self-destruction. I suspect most of them have no idea that their bladder (and often bowels) will empty into their pants when they hang themselves. It isn't necessarily common knowledge unless you have researched the asphyxiation process or studied hanging photographs. Or maybe they're just too busy with their own emotional problems to even think about it. But I honestly suspect that most of them don't even know it will happen. |

You make a good case for adding this information to the school "health" curriculum, starting in the lower grades: "Now, kiddies, if you ever decide to off yourself, be sure to void from both ends first."
