Stray Dogs Kill 58-Year-Old Man in Astrakhan, Russia, January 26, 2022
A pack of stray dogs attacked a 58-year-old man as he walked to work through a garage cooperative in Privolzhsky District, Astrakhan Oblast, on the morning of January 26, 2022. The man, who had taken the route alone that morning, was extensively mauled and died at the scene. Russia's Investigative Committee attributed the death to the attack and opened a criminal case under Article 293, Section 2, covering negligence resulting in death. The case concerned officials responsible for catching stray animals in the district. |

~ He was just doing them a noble favor by feeding them, the poor poor dogs, aka man's best friend. ~ They must be full now. ~ By the way, a coincidence, I've been putting off watching this old 1977 movie, 'The Pack', about a pack of dogs that go wild, maybe this is a sign to watch it, after going on here. |

Who says dogs killed him? All the injuries I can see could easily have been animals feeding on him after death. I don't see defensive wounds like I would expect from an animal attack. More likely the guy suffered a heart attack on the way home and the animals got to him before he was found.
