PHILIPPINES - 31-year-old J.S.O., resident of Panabo City, Davao del Norte, drowned off the coast of a beach resort in Baganga, Davao Oriental on April 30, 2023. You can see her mouth foaming while she was unsuccessfully resuscitated. She was married, but had no children.

She must have known how to swim. She is posted sunning on a kayak. ![]() The surf in the vid is calm, so it was not a rip tide. I think a medical condition is most likely for this drowning. |

In Maricá, Rio de Janeiro state, Brazil, the naked body of a woman, believed to be aged around 25, was found floating by fishermen off Itaipuaçu Beach. The body was recovered by lifeguards. Although the body was not wearing any clothes, there were also reportedly no signs of violence on the corpse, so drowning is believed to be the cause of death. |

PHILIPPINES - At around 2 P.M. on October 18, 2023, 20-year-old "Monang" was found floating in the sea near Barangay Libis, Culion, Palawan. She was riding on the boat en route to Linapacan when she jumped into the water before drowning herself.
