With the tropical sun scorching the Land of Smiles, three Thai girls went to cool themselves off under the shades of a bridge, in the water of the famous River Kwai. This time the bridge didn't kill; the river itself did. One of the girls, nicknamed "Mai", was rescued. Another girl, A.M., had to cool off in the river for three days before being caught in a fish cage. The last girl, "Phleng", was found shortly after.

"Mai" has changed her facebook handle after this incident. (I found her profile but I won't share it here, obviously.) The dead girl in the video was A.M. and I didn't find any postmortem image of "Phleng". Hopefully Simone can find it.

"Kandal Province: The bodies of two women who went missing in a boat sinking case while visiting Koh Sneha in Muk Kampoul District on January 26, 2020 until January 28, 2020 have been found by the competent authorities .
It should be recalled that on January 26, 2020 at 16:30, the two victims, along with more than 10 other people, took a boat to visit Koh Sneha when they left the shore about 10 meters away . The boat also sank into the river, making the two women missing . The cause of the boat sinking was due to overcrowding. On January 28, 2020, the police continued to search and found the bodies of the two victims floating on the river about 250 meters from the scene .
At present, the bodies of the victims have been handed over to their families for traditional rites.
