Set 1 - 4: This barbaric scene belongs in the Dark Ages, but pictures emerged on December 15th, 2009 of a group of Islamic militants who forced villagers to watch as they stoned a man to death for adultery. Set 5 - 8: A judge for an Islamic militant group in Somalia says a woman has been stoned to death and her boyfriend given 100 lashes for having an affair. Sheikh Ibrahim Abdirahman, the judge for the group al-Shabab, says the woman was killed in front of a crowd of 200 people near the town of Wajid.
