Statistically, the firearm suicide victim is more likely to be a male. Weird to see an old B & W of a fully dressed woman, shoes and all neatly laying on the edge of a bed with a self-inflicted bullet to the head. We generally like to keep things tidy when committing suicide, hence the "pill overdoses" women seem to have a proclivity for. I guess this lady didn't have access to drugs so she took Pappy's gun.  |
