Yup. One of the Manson Family's victims. He was just visiting a friend who was working at the Tate/Polanski house when he was murdered.

Yeah, I read that book Helter Skelter back in the day. He was slashed across the hand with such force it cut through the wrist band of his watch. They found the watch on the other side of the car.
