Re: Something About This?
According to mymobnet, the young Nigerian girl recharges her power bank and placed it on her chest and fell asleep. As she was sleeping, the power bank overheated, burnt her skin three degrees deep then she got electrocuted and died on her sleep. Her parents found her dead the next morning with the device stuck deep in her upper right chest. |

Re: Something About This?
Probably imitation gadget or pirated copy. Good brands have power cut off when the charge is full. and thermal cut off if the battery starts to overheat. Im voting her charger touch a live wire and she touched it while she was wet and barefooted. If a lithium pack overheats, it short circuits and explode. and that flimsy case will not stand the explosion. i am in the marketing field of phones and we have tested almost all scenarios we can imagine regarding mishaps in phone power supply. we shorted the terminal, reversed polarities, charged with over powered charger, dropped a sharp object on it while charging, touch live high voltage wires, etc. and more ways our guys can think of. when the battery starts overheating, it swells and blows up, spreading big flash fires and splashes liquid flames around. burning other things. |
