Software Engineer Killed in Accident
Software Engineer Killed in Accident BMTC buses have been well known for their Killer instinct. Several people have lost their life’s at the hands of a Negligent driver every other day in Bangalore. Though often we feel sorry to hear such news, the actual pain was felt when I lost my Brother in law, Srinivasalu M, a 39 year old software engineer with Juniper Networks on the 22nd Jun 2016 for no fault of his. He was only standing behind a BMTC bus which had broken down and carelessly parked on the road side unattended near Marathahalli, while an overspeeding bus crushed him against the stationary bus. The sudden demise has had a huge impact on the Family leaving behind his wife and two innocent kids of 8 and 5 years old, who are still waiting for the return of their father. I fail to understand, how a bus was over speeding in a place like Marathahalli ring road which is over crowded with several software companies and thousands of employees. If the BMTC department claims that the accident occurred due to brake failure, the entire technical department needs to be held responsible for the maintenance of such ill-fated buses. It’s high time BMTC officials and Police dept take action against such reckless drivers. |
