Sneak Peak Inside Burial Vault
Ok, so this pales into insignificance compared to most of the contributions here, but I thought I would share all the same. I took these pictures by holding my camera up to the vents in a below ground burial vault. The burials here are over 150 years old so I didn't expect to find anything at all.. maybe some old coffins. Apart from the skull, does anyone else think there there is a body lying along the bottom of the photographs?  ·  · |

This is an old pioneer cemetery near my home. The construction of vault is quite amazing (compared to others in my state anyway). Thats what drew me to it.

If the vents wre closed, the methane gas would build to the point of rupture, the thing would literaly explode. I have seen it hapen, a few times.   |
