Sky Burial is common among Tibetan's living in Tibet and higher regions of Himalayas as digging graves or collecting wood for cremation is not practical. A special preacher/monk is invited he dismembers the body and leaves it on the rocks in pieces which are quickly eaten by birds. Not sure what happens to bones. |
