You're onto something here, must have been a very important crime. That's a very RARE appearance on some crime scene.
Those specialist pointers are trained to be so fast that they are able to break down a door, identify the target, pointing, walk away before any existent camera will be able to catch them. Sometimes, they can do it all in less than a second.
He actually pointed, but we mere mortals can't see it, as he was incredibly fast.
