Some of those are shrunken monkey heads which are often prepare for sale to ignorant tourists. Shrinking human heads is rarely done anymore. It's kind of messy.

i saw some of these at ripleys believe it or not museum on the gold coast... i wonder how much u could buy one for? theres probably a lot around... they remove the skull first then heat the flesh causing it to shrink... i can't remember exactly how now and i cbf googling it... but thats what it said at ripleys... pretty sweet, i should go back there some time.... it's probably got more cool shit there it was 3 yrs ago when i went.
