Re: Shot Several Times by a 12 Gauge Shotgun.
Yes, just assuming, but also viewing a lot of details on a fairly large screen. 1. There are pellet holes on his right shoulderblade, his spine and at the back of his right shoulder. Birdshot BB's are not powerful enough to pass clean through bone and make nice, round holes like these. The visible GSW is definitely a direct one. 2. There's not a lot of blood on his back. The blood drips to the left, so he probably laid on his left side for a while, then passed out and rolled on his face. That would explain the crossed feet. It would also explain the coagulated blood on the mattress. 3. No blood spatters on the walls. Sawed-offs usually make a mess of the kill and the surroundings, especially when fired at a close range (10-15 ft). 4. There's a small trail of blood on the floor and behind the door. The victim must have walked a small distance before falling. 5. "The emergency services state he died on his way to the hospital." That's why I doubt he was an instant kill. |

Re: Shot Several Times by a 12 Gauge Shotgun.
I saw the trail of blood , which I assume means nothing when chuncks of flesh and arteries are spewing on impact . One shot followed directly with another in the same spot will sufficiently soften and penetrate enough cause pellet those type of wounds . As the exit . I'm often wrong on more than many first observations .. And much more for that matter. the conversation was interesting enough . |

Yes, in fact it was interesting. It's probable that the kill took one or two shots in the face or guts, then received a farewell kiss on the back while slithering in pain. Hard to know for sure if we don't see his front side.

Re: Shot Several Times by a 12 Gauge Shotgun.
I'm asuming his heart still beating , as you stated, pumping blood out and up from small pellet wounds ; Would have to have some blood pressure . It's the leg crossing , I'm more curious . I'm aware of the predominant explaination but some , far more than a chance encounter ,seem a natural occurrence . |

Re: Shot Several Times by a 12 Gauge Shotgun.
With the direction of the blood, the amount of it, and in the location it pooled, I would say that he was on his side and did not die instantly. That blood had to be pumped out of those holes, and drip downward, thus those trails could only be made if he was on his left side. His legs just twisted whenever his body finally slumped over, thus why the blood stain is also slightly to the left of the chest area. So yeah, likely shot while standing, collapsed on his side, bleeds out, and slumps into a perpetual black second. Any photos of the guy flipped over? I can only imagine the peppering that made so much blood. |
