Shot in Public Square
In the early hours of last Sunday (26) a 23 year-old man was shot in the square in Morada Nova. According to the Military Police, the victim was sitting in the square on one of the banks talking to a friend when 2 individuals approached on a motorcycle  . Then one of the killers made several firearm shots against him who succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene. His friend of 22 years was also shot, but was rescued and taken to the City Hospital where he remains hospitalized. The victim's body was collected and sent to the Medical Legal Institute (IML). The Civil Police investigating the case and works in an attempt to identify the perpetrators of the murder
